Reviews from Patients’ Families

NZ

When my daughter’s various symptoms worsened and visits to the GP and emergency department brought no improvement, I felt completely lost. A friend recommended Dr. Noda’s online consultation, and we decided to try it.

Dr. Noda carefully explained the test results, the possible conditions based on symptoms and findings, and how to use the prescribed medication. Since we were planning to move soon, she also referred us to a GP in our new location and provided guidance for ongoing care.

She listened attentively to my daughter, took a holistic approach, and treated her with great respect. My daughter said, “This is the first doctor who really listened to me and explained everything in detail. It might sound strange, but I finally feel like I’ve met a doctor who treats me as a whole, normal person.” She was very satisfied, and so was I.

We can confidently recommend Dr. Noda to others.

Japan

We sought Dr. Noda’s help for our son, who is studying at a high school in Wellington.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was unable to return to Japan, and by the time he ran out of his regular medication, his chronic condition had worsened. With limited support from the school nurse and dormitory staff, and his difficulty explaining medical issues in English, his symptoms continued to progress. Searching from Japan, we came across Dr. Noda’s website.

What we appreciated most was her prompt response, thoughtful advice, and meticulous care. In New Zealand, things often take much longer than we are used to in Japan, so her efficiency was invaluable.

It was also a great relief to consult with a Japanese doctor who has experience and knowledge of both Japanese treatments and medications—without the stress of communicating in medical English. Being able to speak in Japanese, even from Japan, via online consultation brought us peace of mind and a huge advantage.

If we had known about this service earlier, we might have been able to consult sooner and prevent his condition from worsening. For parents whose children are studying in New Zealand, using Dr. Noda’s online clinic can be a valuable way to maintain both your peace of mind and your child’s health.
